Get ready for a browser video call
MatchVideoChat offers video matching in your browser, without a separate app download. Use an up-to-date browser, a stable connection, and a working camera and microphone.
- Choose a quiet spot with light in front of you.
- Uncover your camera and connect headphones if you use them.
- Open matching and allow camera and microphone access when prompted.
- Check the preview and the call options before connecting.
Only allow device access on the site you intend to use. No download does not mean every call is free; review any trial allowance and charges shown in matching.
Use your regular phone browser
Open the site in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android as a starting point. If a link opens inside a social or messaging app and the camera does not work, try your regular browser.
Check that both the browser app and the website have camera and microphone permission. Close another app using the camera, and keep the calling page in the foreground while connecting.

If your preview works but matching does not, read the on-screen message. The issue may involve availability, your account, a balance requirement, or a service error.
End the call and check your camera
Use the call controls to leave. If the camera indicator stays on, close the calling tab and check whether another app is using it. You can remove the site's device permissions in browser settings.
